Women's Month Celebration

Every year, March is chosen for women's month by presidential proclamation. Women's month celebration is a time to honor and recognize the achievements, contributions, and the struggle of women throughout history. It empowers young girls around the nation with courage, self-esteem and willpower to walk in our ancestor's footsteps. It is held every March; it serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about gender equality, women's rights, and the ongoing challenges that all women have faced. Throughout the month, the government celebrates women through various activities and initiatives aimed at honoring women's achievements and promoting gender equality, such as public awareness campaigns, community events and recognition or awards. The National Women's History alliance selects and publishes the yearly theme. The theme for women's month celebration 2025 is "Moving forward together! Women educating and inspiring generations".
