Dream Beyond Borders: Connecting Underprivileged Learners to New Academic Horizons

On March 18th, 2026 Ms. Kimhong Phan, Aii Sen Sok campus director along with a team of academic professionals, graduates and visiting students from Teikyo University, Japan paid a visit to Chubtatrav Lifelong Learning Center based in Siem Reap province. Aii Language Center’s Sen Sok campus director, Ms. Kimhong PHAN, shared her success story during the visit as inspiration to underprivileged students of the Lifelong Learning Center. 

The visit continued with a meeting with Toy TOSS, a 15-year-old equivalency learner who had once dropped out of public school but found a second chance through the Lifelong Learning Center. His story left a lasting impression on everyone. Living with his elderly mother, Toy balances his studies with the responsibility of supporting their daily life. While his mother travels for labor work, earning only about $6 per day, Toy remains determined, working hard and holding onto his dream of a better future through education. His resilience and quiet strength touched the hearts of the visitors.  

The study visit by Ms. Kimhong Phan, our campus director, went to show that Aii Language Center aims to offer quality, discipline and services of the highest standards in education not just for our Aii students but also underprivileged students. Time and time again, this pattern of supporting marginalized students shows up such as the case of the Window to the World project which invites Cambodian students from rural areas of Cambodia to experience modern classrooms at Aii Language Center.
